Our Vehicles

Tendercare deploys the most up-to-date fleet of vehicles here in Richmond and surrounding areas with the majority equipped to handle both stretcher and wheelchair calls. Our large fleet enables us to handle difficult situations and provide substitute vehicles when needed. All of our wheelchair transport vehicles are equipped with hydraulic lifts (not ramps) to ensure the utmost safety for both our patrons and driver. We also use the newest technology of GPS for exact destinations and to be on-time for necessary appointments.

Custom-built Vehicles – to our Specifications
Our vehicles are delivered direct from the manufacturer to our factory-approved OEM vendor that performs the modifications that meet or exceed all ADA safety compliance guidelines for those individuals with disabilities.

Occupant Restraint Systems
Our vehicles are equipped with Sure-Lok Occupant Restraint Systems with a variety of options best suited for individual patients or for those with special needs.

Preventive Maintenance Program
Coming from the transportation industry with over 24 years of fleet maintenance experience, our technical staff performs routine preventive maintenance and regular servicing of our vehicles and hydraulic lifts. We pride ourselves in taking advanced safety measures for the protection of our clients – your patients and loved ones.
